A320 Type Rating – Initial (With or Without MCC)

This comprehensive course prepares pilots to operate the Airbus A320 family aircraft safely and efficiently following international aviation standards. It provides complete ground school and simulator-based training under the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) frameworks. The MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) module is offered as an integrated option depending on the pilot background.

Eligibility Requirements / Prerequisites
  • Valid CPL/IR with ATPL theory credit
  • ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency or higher
  • Multi-Engine Rating (ME)
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 70 hours of PIC (Pilot-in-Command) time
Delivery Method / Course Format
  • Ground School: Classroom instruction with CBT (Computer-Based Training)
  • Practical Training:
    • Fixed Base Simulator (FBS): 5 sessions or 3 FTD
    • Full Flight Simulator (FFS): 9 sessions (4 hours each)
  • Skill Test: Conducted on the last simulator session
