This course is designed for certified cabin crew members transitioning to a new aircraft type. It ensures compliance with CARC (Jordan) and operator-specific requirements for type-specific knowledge, safety procedures, and emergency handling protocols. Training is tailored to meet the client airline's operating manuals and emergency procedures
Course Outline / Training Elements
- Aircraft system and equipment familiarization
- Type-specific door operations and emergency exits
- Operator-specific emergency procedures Cabin layout and safety system review (LOPA)
- Equipment handling and touch drills
- Safety and standard operating procedures (SOP)
Eligibility Requirements / Prerequisites
- Completion of Initial Safety Training
- Valid cabin crew attestation
- Official enrollment request by the operating airline or certified individual

Fully dependent on the aircraft type and modules selected by the airline.
Delivery Method / Course Format
- Delivered in full accordance with the operator’s approved syllabus and training manuals
- Includes practical training on aircraft or mock-up door trainers
- Customization options for training material:
- JATS-developed content aligned with operator SOPs
- Airline-provided materials for training delivery by JATS
Certification Outcome
Upon successful completion, cabin crew receive endorsement and Attestation for the new aircraft type, qualifying them for immediate line operations under their airline.
Operator Requirement
- The operator’s CAA must formally approve the course.
- Aircraft access or an approved mock-up should be available.
- Layout of Passenger Accommodation (LOPA) provided to JATS for simulation accuracy.
