  • Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that support the growth and strategic objectives of Jordan Airline Training & Simulation (JATS). The role focuses on expanding JATS's client base, strengthening relationships with existing and prospective customers, identifying market opportunities, and promoting the company's training and simulation services regionally, and internationally.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with relevant internal departments to develop commercially viable solutions, prepare proposals and agreements, support the achievement of revenue targets, and contribute to the development and implementation of JATS's business development strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development plans in line with JATS’s strategic objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, clients, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, particularly within the aviation and training sectors.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial offers in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and follow up on business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Training, Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, Legal, and other relevant departments to develop suitable commercial solutions.
  • Represent JATS at relevant meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Maintain an updated business development pipeline and provide periodic reports to management.
  • Monitor business development KPIs and contribute to achieving approved revenue and growth targets.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications

     Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in aviation, airline training, or simulation is preferred.

  • Experience in dealing with corporate, regional, or international clients is an advantage.
