On completion of a theoretical training course the student shall be able to demonstrate, to the levels identified in the below syllabus, the detailed theoretical knowledge of the aircraft’s applicable systems, structure, operations, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting according to approved maintenance data. The student shall be able to demonstrate the use of manuals and approved procedures, including the knowledge of relevant inspections and limitations.

 

                

At the completion of level 3 training, the student will be able to:

 

  1. demonstrate a theoretical knowledge of the fitted engine and interrelationships with other systems, provide a detailed description of the subject using theoretical fundamentals and specific examples and to interpret results from various sources and measurements and apply corrective action where appropriate;
  2. perform system, powerplant, component and functional checks as specified in the aircraft maintenance manual;
  3. (c)demonstrate the use, interpret and apply appropriate documentation including structural repair manual, troubleshooting manual, etc.;
  4. correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect of fault diagnosis and rectification to maintenance manual level;
  5. (e) describe procedures for replacement of components unique to engine type.
Course Outline / Training Elements

This course is designed for those trainees who are holding a maintenance certificate for a training course on A330 aircraft fitted with (RR TRENT 700) engines. It covers all differences between the two engines and the associated systems that concern certified staff.

Target Audience / Who Should Enroll

Part-66 category B1 / B2 or other maintenance staff holding a maintenance type rating on A330 fitted with (RR TRENT 700) engines.

Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License category B1 / B2 or equivalent and type rating on A330(RR TRENT 700)

Learning Method

Theoretical training will be achieved by Stand-up instruction in the classroom in JATS or customer location. It can be online distance learning led by highly qualified instructors.
